Nick is finally potty trained. A while ago Julie tried to put a diaper on him for bedtime and he said that he doesn't wear diapers anymore. He stays dry during naps and bedtime. He still has is accidents but is getting really good at letting us know while we are in public when he has to go. Only one more to go. Anne has already been interested in it for a long time.
We got our Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving, well most of it. We still have to get Nick and Anne their gifts. With Jay's parents going to Florida for the month of December we had to get it to them so they could get it wrapped and delivered. My family was very easy. Now it is just sitting in a box waiting to be shipped out.
We went on a run to Silver City with the 4x4 club. Nick and Leif went along with us. Nick was really good time. Although he didn't mind the riding too much but he would have preferred being out and about driving his own rock crawler. It was really cold once we got into the Owyhee's and it even started snowing a bit the closer we to to Silver City.
We had Thanksgiving at our house with the Ekedahl's and Jay's
parents. It was a nice 50 degrees outside. It was a nice dinner. I made pies for the first time. The first three didn't turn out that great. We used a mix of our grandmother's dishes. It was really nice. We had alot of food. And much much more left over. Sorry for those in the mid-west but we had great weather after Thanksgiving. It even got up to almost 60. It was so warm even one of Julie's trees is starting to have buds again. It didn't last long it is now only highs of 45.
We won't be going back to Indiana for Christmas, but we will probably go on with our tradition of going to McCall. We have started our Christmas tree. It is up and the lights are on but that is it. We might get the ornaments on before Christmas comes.
